Building Community Through Basketball
Using basketball to support wellbeing, inclusion, and connection.
Flames Basketball is built on a simple belief: community thrives when people move, connect, and grow together.
As a charity-led club in East London, we use basketball to bring people of all ages and abilities into a positive, supportive environment.
Our vision is a community united by respect, effort, and shared values. Whether you’re picking up a ball for the first time or returning to the court with experience, you’ll find a place here to build confidence, improve your game, and feel part of something bigger.
Join us, and help shape a club where inclusion isn’t just a word; it’s the way we play, support, and show up for each other.
Let's Ball
Each session begins with a free shooting session to get everyone warmed up and relaxed. From there, we move into age-appropriate technical drills, skill work, or fun games; all designed to build confidence in dribbling, shooting, teamwork, and overall game understanding. Most sessions end with game time, so players put their skills into action.
Sessions run for 55 minutes, except for our Men’s one, which lasts 2 hours.
Your first session is £6, and subsequent sessions are £7.50 each on a pay-as-you-go basis. We also offer annual plans and reduced PAYG fees for club members.
